What Is the Procedure Like?

Fluid will drain from the incision during the first 24 to 48 hours. You may experience minor pain and tenderness for the first few days. You are encouraged to get plenty of rest, and strenuous physical activities will be prohibited for about a week.

A degree of swelling and bruising will be present. To control these issues, you’ll need to wear a post-surgical elastic garment, which will also help the skin better fit the area’s new underlying contours.
